Our Story
About
Uptime Industries was founded in April 2023 by Ivan Kuleshov and Sascha Buehrle after successfully closing a $1.3 Mio Kickstarter campaign focused on making enterprise-grade on-premise solutions for cluster computing accessible, scalable, and affordable for users of all knowledge levels.
During the production of the first 20,000 products, Uptime Industries collected extensive information from early B2B customers to understand their use cases, as the product initially targeted hobbyists and small specialized companies. When Uptime Industries released an AI Accelerator add-on for its initial cluster solution, called the AI module, many B2B orders were initiated due to this easy-to-implement edge AI capability, which combines AI with cluster computing to provide out-of-the-box scalability and centralized control.
Building on its expertise in distributed AI workloads, model distribution, and modern cluster computing technologies, Uptime Industries set out to create a customer-centric B2B solution that seamlessly integrates hardware and software for generative AI in professional environments. True to Uptime Industries’ core values of transparency, full ownership, affordability, and scalability, this solution has been realized as Lemony.ai — comprising Lemony Node, Lemony Intelligence, and Lemony Agentic Backoffice.
